CashBox Push Notifications send your system notifications for predefined events as they occur. This improves performance and streamlines integration by eliminating the frequent need to pull large amounts of data, most of which contains no new information, using the CashBox API. Say you have 1 million customers, but 10,000 are billed on a given day. With push notifications, you receive event notifications of the billing status for those customers from CashBox instead of having to pull data for all customers using an API call.
To use push notifications, you subscribe to the event classes or individual events relevant to your business. Push messages from CashBox contain the full related object or objects that describe the event, and don’t typically require any subsequent API call for your system to use the data. The Vindicia team regularly adds to the events supported by push notifications.
