CashBox provides two kinds of campaigns.
Promotion—Campaigns generate a single Campaign Code that you can distribute to multiple customers. A Promotion code is not unique to individual users and is typically publicly available through newspapers, broadcast, or mass email.
Coupon—Campaigns generate multiple unique Campaign Codes, each of which can be used a defined number of times. Coupon Campaigns are often highly targeted, and Coupon Code distribution and redemption is trackable.
The options shown change depending on the type of Campaign you choose.
Promotion—If you select this option, set a Start and End date and time.
Coupon—if you select this option, set whether the campaign Requires Activation; and set the maximum number of different Sucscriptions a single Coupon Code can be applied to( Max Redemptions) for the campaign; and set a Start and End date and time.
Start and End dates define the period during which a customer can submit a Campaign Code for redemption. A Campaign can offer a discount that extends beyond this period, but the customer must redeem the Code within this period.
For example, a Campaign Code for both rolling and fixed period Promotions must be submitted between the Offer Start and End dates to be valid. In both cases, submitting the Promotion Code during this period will trigger the Campaign discount. For a rolling period Campaign, the discount will be applied for the defined number of Billing Cycles. For a fixed period Promotion, the discount will be applied until the Promotion End date.
For rolling promotion campaigns spanning multiple billing periods, the billing terms must be homogeneous. You cannot offer a rolling campaign if the Billing Plan has varied term lengths. Free cycles are ignored.
