CashBox Reporting for Salesforce Release Notes 3.4.1, 3.5, and 3.6

CashBox Reporting for Salesforce Release Notes 3.4.1, 3.5, and 3.6

As of version 14.11, CashBox Reporting for Salesforce is now known as CashBox (Basic).

Features and Enhancements

This release includes the following new enhancement.

CashBox Contacts No Longer Created in Salesforce for Locally Originated Accounts if No New Accounts Is true

Previously, when No New Accounts configuration was set to true, Salesforce-originated Accounts being synched would have a CashBox based Contact created.

Now, CashBox Contacts will not be created in Salesforce for locally originated Accounts if No New Accounts is true, leaving any locally created or managed Contacts intact. This allows the original source or Salesforce to be the master record for all Contact and non-CashBox-affiliated information.

Bug Fixes

The following Bugs were fixed in 3.4.1, 3.5, and 3.6:

Summary Description

Some set ups involving the use of Person Accounts within Salesforce caused import and certain key application functions to perform improperly if multiple custom Account Record Types were defined.

All valid configurations involving Person Accounts are now supported.

When No New Accounts configuration was set to true, newly created CashBox accounts that were not to be imported (no Salesforce mapped counterpart) were still creating Contacts (which were unaffiliated to any Account) in Salesforce.

CashBox Accounts that are not to be imported when No New Accounts is true will no longer create a Contact in Salesforce, preventing the creation of unaffiliated Billing contacts.

When an account was locally created in Salesforce, then mapped using the Customer ID field, the initial import would simply import the Vindicia Record Identifier and the next subsequent import (or Account Refresh) would execute the full Account sync.

The routine import process will now fully import data for Accounts locally created and mapped solely with the Customer ID on the first full import after mapping.
